It creates the real scene for the Ss to feel the taste of the language and help the Ss learn by using,make them more interested in speaking English and build up their confidence. b) Analysis of the students: As the students of Junior two, they know the Chinese ancient stories very well. However, they are not able to tell them in English. Also they are not familiar with the western ancient stories. But they are interested in the stories. It’s very necessary for me to tell them why the war started. I should develop their skills of prediction and how to answer questions with complete sentences. After listening practice, it’s possible and necessary for them to role play the story. Students can learn better through cooperate study.
